Trenova Solar was born from a legacy of excellence and decades of experience in the solar energy sector. Our founders, Mr. Sarath Babu Popuri and Mr. P. Siva Prasad, have spent years at the forefront of solar innovation, delivering projects across India and internationally, including the US, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Seeing an opportunity to combine their expertise into a single mission-driven company, they established Trenova Solar with a clear goal: to accelerate India’s renewable energy transition while setting new benchmarks for quality, trust, and partnership.

Although newly incorporated, Trenova Solar carries the deep technical knowledge, global exposure, and operational discipline of its founders. The company is structured to deliver high-quality EPC and O&M solutions, specializing in government-driven schemes such as PM-KUSUM, as well as commercial, industrial, and agricultural solar projects.

Meet the Visionaries Behind Trenova Solar

At Trenova Solar, our strength lies in the deep technical expertise and hands-on experience of our founding directors. They have been at the forefront of the solar industry for decades, delivering projects with a relentless commitment to quality.

Mr. Sarath Babu Popuri is a solar industry veteran with nearly two decades of hands-on experience in EPC execution, inverter technology, SCADA systems, and long-term O&M services. His career has taken him across India, Africa, the Middle East, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and the USA, where he has successfully led projects of global scale.

Before co-founding Trenova Solar, he established Benedetto Solar Enterprises, through which he executed major EPC and technical support contracts, including:

  • Risha 60 MW, Jordan

  • EA Solar 180 MW (Thailand – Lampang, Nakhonsawan)

  • Mount Signal 260 MW, California, USA

  • UNISUN & Trekkopje 5 MW each – Namibia

  • 685 MW projects in South Africa – Santerno Inverters (TG750/TG1800)

  • EnerTek's different plants with 8 MW capacity in Gunsan Port, South Korea

His leadership is defined by technical depth, global exposure, and customer-first service. Mr. Sarath believes in knowledge transfer, training, and performance optimization, enabling clients to maximize plant reliability and efficiency over the long term.

Mr. P. Siva Prasad brings strong expertise in large-scale EPC execution, PM-KUSUM projects, and operational excellence. Over his career, he has executed and supported more than 1,880 MW of solar installations, including 404 decentralized PM-KUSUM plants across India.

He has previously worked with MEIL, Photon Energy Systems, and Enertronica Santerno, where he:

• PM-KUSUM Projects across 404 plants, leading EPC execution.

• Central inverter commissioning, SCADA integration, and performance optimization.

• Successfully managed teams of 400+ technicians and engineers.

• Coordinated grid connectivity and compliance with DISCOMs and nodal agencies.

• Supervised solar insurance claim processing worth ₹1.65 Cr, ensuring documentation and resolution.

• Worked across projects in Jordan, India, and Africa.

Known for his strategic planning, team leadership, and problem-solving skills, Mr. Siva Prasad ensures that every project is delivered on schedule with uncompromised safety, quality, and performance. His vision is to make Trenova Solar a trusted partner for sustainable energy across India and beyond.

Together, their combined experience of over 30 years and a shared vision for a solar-powered India is the driving force behind every project Trenova Solar undertakes.
